Happy Birthday To Fort Lee's Fox News Anchor Liz Claman
FORT LEE, N.J. – Happy birthday to Fort Lee's Liz Claman!
The Fox business reporter and anchor turns 53 today.
Claman, who was born in Beverly Hills, Calif., to Canadian parents, attended UC Santa Cruz, but graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in French.
She started in television as a production assistant at KCBS-TV in Los Angeles and got her first one-air reporting job in Columbus, Ohio. She also had a morning talk show in Cleveland and was a weekend anchor in Boston.
In 1998, she joined CNBC as a freelancer, working out of Fort Lee, N.J. and in Englewood Cliffs.

Snow Emergency, Overnight Parking Limits Are In Effect In Greenburgh
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Greenburgh, which just relaxed its overnight parking rules on certain streets this winter, had to declare a snow emergency Sunday, according to police Chief Chris McNerney.
This means that it’s not OK to park on East Hartsdale Avenue, or at the metered spots on Columbia Avenue, between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12.
The town’s winter parking rules took effect on Thursday, Dec. 1. They last until March 15.
Forecasters were predicting snow for the region from Sunday afternoon to Monday morning.

Meet Thomas, Pomona Animal Shelter's Pet of the Week
POMONA, N.Y. -- Sweet and “talkative” Thomas, a 1-year-old male kitty, is up for adoption at the Hi Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona.
According to the shelter folks, the grey-and-white cat is active and loves to play.
He would do well in a home with children, as well as other cats, they said.
“He would love to have a buddy to run around with all day,” a post by the shelter said.
