Piscataway Man Fatally Shot In Irvington: Prosecutor A 42-year-old Piscataway man was fatally shot in Irvington on Monday, July 21, authorities said. At 10 p.m., Irvington police responded to 100 Union Ave. and found Anwar Jackson in the street with multiple gunshot wounds, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II and Irvington Public Safety Director Tracy Bowers said. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
