Early-Morning Car Fire Under Investigation In Rye Authorities in Westchester County are investigating an early-morning car fire that left a vehicle fully engulfed in flames on a residential street.  The blaze was reported around 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, on Lavender Lane in Rye, according to the City of Rye Police Department.  Responding officers and firefighters arrived to find a 2014 Dodge Durango fully on fire.
