Man Charged With Felony DWI After Erratic Driving, Putnam Sheriff Says A Danbury man is facing charges of felony driving while intoxicated after he was arrested in Southeast Sunday, police said. Luis G. Sanchez, 28, is accused of driving erratically just before he was stopped on Route 6 around 2:45 a.m. by sheriff’s Deputy Keith Blessing, police said. Sanchez failed field sobriety tests and was found to be intoxicated, according to Sheriff Donald B. Smith. Blessing’s investigation uncovered a previous DWI conviction, the sheriff added.
