Passaic County Man's West Nile Death Marks First Since 2013 PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. -- Last week, a 65-year old Passaic man died due to West Nile Virus, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. The victim, who was not identified, was the 7th confirmed case of West Nile in New Jersey, according to a Department of Health's communications team. This is the first West Nile case to result in death since 2013, a year in which there were 2 recorded deaths. Pace Women's Soccer Kicks Off Season Ranked 6th In NE-10 PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- With school just around the corner, HERO Sports has released it's NE-10 Women's Soccer season preview, with Pace ranked 6th, one spot below local rival Southern Connecticut State University and roughly middle of the pack in the 15 team conference. John Kelly, 79, Somers Resident SOMERS, N.Y. -- John A. Kelly of Somers died Sunday, Aug. 30th at the age of 79. Born on June 13, 1936 to Peter and Catherine Kelly in Mt. Vernon, he lived for many years in Yonkers. John loved camping, traveling and playing horse shoes. He worked as a carpenter for many years in Local 11.
