The team, which calls itself The Ossining O-bots, called on its members to use all their scientific, engineering, technology and math skills to make the robots it will enter in the Hudson Valley Regional (HVR) FIRST® competition next month. Robert William Hunt, 77, of Pawling PAWLING, N.Y. -- Pawling resident Robert William died on Sunday, Feb 19. He was 77. He was born in Mineola, on Nov. 1, 1939, to Lawrence M. and Gwendolyn R. (Wollard) Hunt. Hunt served in the U.S. Army, then in the Army Reserve. He was honorably discharged. Do You Know Him? Lost Dog Found In Lewisboro LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- A black Labrador retriever was found Tuesday afternoon on Kitchawan Road in Lewisboro, local police said in a Facebook post. The male dog didn’t have a collar, tags or microchip when he was found. He appears to be between one to three years old and looks healthy and well fed. The pooch was found around 2 p.m., just west of Mill River Road, and is being cared for by the folks at the South Salem Animal Hospital. Anyone who knows who the doggie belongs to is being asked to call the town clerk’s office at (914) 763-3511 or (914) 763-8903.
