David Allan Steres, 60, of Milton, collapsed at Ferncliff Forest off Mount Rutsen Road around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Ridgefield Bridge Project Shifts Danbury Road/Route 35 Travel Lanes RIDGEFIELD, CONN. – Travel lanes on Danbury Road (Route 35) in Ridgefield shifted into construction configuration Monday, police said. This means that northbound traffic will be directed over the temporary bridge and southbound traffic will be directed onto a shifted onto a southbound lane. The southern driveway at the Fox Hill condominium complex will only be used as an entrance, police said. The lane shifts are part of the state Department of Transportation’s year-long project to replace the small bridge over Ridgefield Brook.
