Happy Birthday To Bergenfield's Bob Gaudio, Member Of The Four Seasons
BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Happy Birthday to Bergenfield’s Bob Gaudio!
Born in the Bronx, but raised in New Jersey, Gaudio turns 74, Nov. 17.
The songwriter/keyboardist/singer is best known for his stint as a member of the Four Seasons.
The other members of the American rock and pop band were Frankie Valli, lead vocals; Tommy DeVito, lead guitar; and Nick Massi, electric bass and bass vocals.
Gaudio, who provided tenor vocals, wrote the band’s first big hit, “Sherry.”
He subsequently wrote a string of hits for the group, including “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man” and “Rag Doll.”

New Developments Are Evidence Harrison's On A Roll, Mayor Says
HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison’s chief is pointing to two new housing projects as evidence the community is on the upswing.
Mayor Ron Belmont said qualified developers, picking up on the town’s and village’s recent economic momentum are committed to investing in Harrison.
Of particular interest, he said, is a 36-unit apartment complex going up at the site of the old lumberyard at 550 Halstead Ave.
The rents will be set at market rate, Belmont said.

Tarrytown's John Geres Fuller, Contractor, Cartoonist, 63
TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – John Geres Fuller, a Tarrytown native and former Yorktown resident, died Sunday, Nov. 13, in Cape Cod, Mass. He was 63.
The cause was cancer, his family said.
Fuller was a graduate of Yorktown High School and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
He owned and operated J.G. Fuller Construction, a contracting and construction business that he ran for 25 years in San Francisco and for 18 years in Cape Cod.
Among his passions were restoring and preserving historic homes.
