Whether they make seven meals to reflect the seven sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church, or a dozen dishes, representing the 12 apostles, Italian-American families are dishing up a lot on fish on Christmas Eve, according to a report by lohud.com

Have You Seen Molly, Lost Larchmont Dog?
LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- A Larchmont family has posted a plea on social media for help in finding its missing dog, Molly.
Molly went missing Monday from her Davis Avenue home, the family said.
The pup has been known to go slip away before, but always returned promptly, her devastated owners said.
“She is 8 years old, she will be heartbroken without me!!,” said the post.
Molly’s family is asking anyone with any knowledge of her whereabouts to call them at (914) 469-4898.

Funeral Services Set For Former Congressman Ben Gilman
Funeral services for Poughkeepsie native and former longtime lawmaker Benjamin A. Gilman have been scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Gilman, who was a U.S. congressman for 30 years, died Saturday, Dec. 17. He was 94.
Services begin a 10 a.m. at Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Ave., Middletown.
Rabbi Marcus Rubenstein will officiate.
Burial will be in the West Point Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home.
