Police Seek Suspect Wanted In Cortlandt Debit Card Theft Case CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- New York State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in a fraud case. Police released a picture of the man after a Cortlandt resident reported that his debit card number had been used to make fraudulent purchases in Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and Hyde Park. Carmel Man Charged With Stealing Mother's Credit Card CARMEL, N.Y. -- A Carmel man accused of stealing his mother’s credit card has been charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith said. Ryan T. McKeown, 23, was arrested last week at his home on Route 6 after his mother found the card in his room and called police, Smith said.
